Why is pension income appearing on line 7 rather than line12 of form 1040a
The reason that pension income is reported on line 7 of Form 1040A is because when you are under the minimum retirement age, the taxable amount of your disability pension is reported as wages. Please refer to the following FAQ for additional clarification. https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3300364
