Where will I include spousal support payments on my tax returns?

I pay my ex $1300 per month in spousal support and child support. Have been since Feb 2016. Are these amounts included in my tax returns as a deduction?

Child support payments are not tax deductible. But you can include alimony (spousal support):

Alimony paid:

  1. Federal Taxes
  2. Deductions & Credits
  3. Scroll down to Other Deductions and Credits, select Alimony Paid
