I have excessive 401k contribution for 2018 tax year and withdrawn the excessive amount on March 2019. I reported the amount in Less Common Income as instructed, but when I run SMART CHECK in Turbo tax it kept showing that I have over-contribution. Should I go change the 401k contribution amount under W2 section or there is other place I can make modification? I need a way to pass the SMART CHECK. Thanks

No, you should not change the 401 (K) contribution amount on your W2.
TurboTax is aware of the e-filing issue that you are having and is currently working on a solution. An update to fix the issue is expected to be released around 4/5/2019.
Be sure to sign up for updates to be alerted as soon as there is a solution. If you do not want to wait for an update, you have the option to paper file your tax returns as this is only an e-filing issue.
