Hi,
I am originally from the U.K and a few years ago I began receiving a small monthly pension from a previous employer there. The amount about $2050.00 per year.
When I first began receiving it I wasn’t sure where to enter on my tax return and someone suggested i report it on the 1040 on line 21 – Other Income.
However, on the 2018 1040, someone told me to record it under the Pension and Annuity Line, entering the full amount for 2018 on line 4b.
Can you please advise me if this is the correct way to
disclose this income or should I be doing something else? How will TurboTax online help me determine where to enter it?
Thank you.
