If you are receiving annuity income, this would be reported in the retirement income section.  You should have received a 1099-R for this income.

You can do this by selecting the following:

  1. Federal
  2. Income
  3. I'll Choose what I work on
  4. Retirement Plans and Social Security
  5. Start next to IRA, 401 (k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R)

You should have received a form 1099-R from the insurance company. You enter it as you would any other 1099-R.
