Where do I input my Traditional IRA contributions?

To enter a contribution to an IRA, which is an adjustment to income, go here in TurboTax:

• Select Federal Taxes (Personal if using TurboTax Self Employed or Home and Business)
• Select Deductions & Credits
• You may need to click on Skip to see all tax breaks
• Click on Retirement and Investments and then Show More
• Traditional and Roth IRA Contributions
• Start

Login to your TurboTax online account

Click Take me to my return or Continue your return

Type the words IRS contributions in the Search box located in the upper right hand corner. Click the Jump to IRA contributions link that appears in the search results. 

An alternative route after logging in:

• Click the Personal  tab
• then Deductions and Credits 
• I'll Choose What I Work On
• scroll down to Retirement and Investments
• then click Start next to Traditional and Roth IRA Contributions
