There are over a dozen kinds of 1099's and you do not say what kind you are asking about.   If you worked as an independent contractor you will receive a 1099NEC or 1099Misc by the end of January from the business or person who paid you for work or services.

if you are asking about a 1099R, 1099B, 1099DIV, 1099INT, etc etc. etc.  they are issued by banks and financial institutions and are usually sent or made available for import by the end of January or sometimes later in February.  WAIT for your documents.
