Where do I enter the prior year distribution amounts for form 8915F?

The software is not calculating taxes correctly and is leaving blanks on this form.

Go to the 1099-R entry:

  1. Go to Federal > Wages & Income.
  2. Find Retirement Plans and Social Security and select Start/Revisit next to IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R).
  3. If you did not receive a 1099-R this year, answer "No" to "Did you get a 1099-R?".
  4. Answer "Yes" to the question: "Have you ever taken a disaster distribution before [Prior Year]?".
  5. Answer "Yes" to "Did you take a 2020 Qualified Disaster Distribution?" (or whichever year applies to your spread).
  6. On the subsequent screens, enter the original distribution amount and the 1/3 taxable portion from your prior-year Form 8915-E or 8915-F.
