In desktop it is in the interview questions looks like this:
In TurboTax Online it looks like this through the interview:
FYI: It is in the interview when you start your state return right after it asks about medical expenses. Start the state interview again. Don't delete if you have multiple states, try correcting by going over NJ again, go to prepare state. When you select prepare state on left hand menu of online program, go over state again, and select continue until you see the above screens.

Thank you for the help. I would never have found it otherwise. I don't view my investment in a 529 plan as a college expense until it is actually spent on college, so I did not "have any NJ college expenses to deduct" and missed the rest of the bullet points. I'm using this 529 for private school education savings, so it put my mind even further away from the interview question. Thanks again.
Hi - I have the same question as the person below. I am using Turbotax Premier desktop version, and do not see the question about New Jersey College Affordability. Right after 'Any Medical Expenses' question I get 'Qualified Conservation Contribution' question. Turbotax never asks me about NJ College. Could you please elaborate how to get to that question?
If you are using TurboTax Desktop, in your NJ Interview you should come to this section "New Jersey College Affordability Deductions". This question comes after "Any Medical Expenses" section.
Click YES to the screenshot below and the next page will take you to where to enter the amount of your contribution.

I have the same issue, using Premier desktop I go from "Any Medical Expenses?" directly to "Qualified Conservation Contribution" without the 529 section. I have confirmed that my software is up to date. Help!
I realized what the issue is in gross income. The 529 plan in NJ is only deductible if your AGI is under 200K.
