Where do I enter an income exclusion for pension receieved as a beneficiary. It should be up to $20,000. it was included in last years tax return

it isn’t a NYS, local government, or federal pension and the decedent would have been entitled to it

The decedent was entitled to the $20,000 exclusion. The beneficiaries must divide that up and receive their share of the $20,000. If you are the sole beneficiary, you qualify to take the full $20,000.

See NY Pub 36.
