what is line 6a on form1040sr

Hi Tinavl!

Line 6a on form 1040sr is the amount of social security benefits you received during the tax year.  If any portion of that is taxable it will carry to line 6b.  If none of it is taxable, 6b will be blank.

Hope this helps,

Cindy
