W2 Box 14

Good Afternoon

Regarding Box 14 - Code K

The product reflects that Code K is a 20% Excise Tax

But my W2 states Code K is for "Pretax Vision & Dental Deduction.

Needless to say when entered the amount if reduced my refund over$700

Please advise

W-2 Box 14, Code K is pre-tax deductions for dental and vision coverage. 

W-2 Box 12, Code K is a 20% excise tax on golden parachute payments.

Check your W-2 because it sounds like the entry for Code K is in Box 12 instead of Box 14.
