unable to add info for 1099-k

when i complete the following: Select Continue on this screen. On the Your 1099-K Summary screen, select Done. i can not get to where i can add the item(s) On the Your income and expenses screen, select Start or Edit/Add next to Investments and Savings (1099-B, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-K, Crypto). i can only edit under 'your income' On Your Investments and Savings Summary screen, you’ll see a line item for your 1099-K income. Select Edit or Review and enter the information for the first personal sale item. i do not see a line item to edit other then the summary that takes me back to the beginning to select continue and then done

unable to add info for 1099-k

To enter your 1099-K in TurboTax:

 

  1. Open your return
  2. Go to 1099-K
  3. Add a 1099-K
  4. The next screen lets you select the type of income that your 1099-K is for, select the option that is closest to the income you received

If this doesn't work, you sometimes need to clear your cache (temporary files). A full or corrupted cache can cause problems in TurboTax.  You can try these steps if you are using the online version:

 

  • Clearing your Cache and Cookies
  • Using a different browser
  • Opening an Incognito Window
