My husband gets a pension from Oklahoma Teachers Retirement. On the Turbotax screen labeled "Where is This Distribution From?", there are several choices. I believe the correct choice is "Oklahoma government retirement/disability benefits." I chose that and completed the amounts a payer tax-id at the bottom of the screen. I clicked continue and proceeded to other screens. Some of the later questions didn't make sense, so I navigated back to this screen and saw that Turbotax had changed my answer. It changed the answer to "Federal government retirement or disability benefits." That's not correct. I chose "Oklahoma..." again. Came back to the screen and it had changed it to Federal again. I re-chose "Oklahoma..." and clicked File / Save. I navigated away and back and the program changed it to Federal yet again. My fear is that this will affect my Oklahoma return because I think it will not allow us to take the $10,000 retirement income exclusion. Any thoughts on how to get Turbotax to keep my choice of Oklahoma?
