Please clarify the question. Box 7 of the 1099-OID is a Description box. Please give us the details of what it says.
I had TurboTax input information from my investment broker. When I finished my return, TurboTax began its final review. That review is asking me for information from form 1099 OID from my brokerage. It asks: “ Form 1099-OID (Raymond James): Box 1, Box 2, Box 8, or Box 11 should have a value for Raymond James”
My consolidated statement from Raymond James includes info on 1099 DIV, 1099 MISC, and 1099 B. The only reference I find to 1099 OID is in the notes. It refers to box 7 which lists “tax lot identifier—cost and date acquired”. There is no full 1099 OID form, and no information on Box 1 or any boxes other than box 7.
I don’t know what “value” is being requested, and i don’t have a form 1099-OID from Raymond James where I could find it.
Thanks for trying to help.
