Form 5329 reports additional taxes on IRAs, other qualified retirement plans, modified endowment contracts, Coverdell ESAs, QTPs, Archer MSAs, or HSAs.

If you had an early withdrawal from retirement plans or HSAs, etc.

Form 5329 is not mailed to you.

TurboTax attaches that form on your tax return if it decides it is necessary.
