Yes, you can review you 1099-DIV data that you entered into TurboTax, here's how:
The amount on line 2a do not match the total of Box 11 of 1099-DIV or Box 8 of a 1099-INT which are clearly entered into Turbotax. I can see this documents in Turbotax. Turbotax has the correct imported docs. My concern is did they allocate this tax exempt interest correctly to line 2a on the 1040. It does not appear so.
Is 2a more? It might have come from other places. Like any K-1. You have to check the imported info close. It may not have imported right. Maybe it imported a 1099 you didn't get a copy of? Or imported a corrected 1099 you haven't received yet. You might be able to log into your broker account and see what 1099 pdf statements they have.
Thanks for your reply.
Actually line 2a on 1040 is less than the total of all of my Box 11 on my 1099-Div(s) plus the tax exempt amount (Box 😎 on a single 1099-INT. However, if I just total the Box 11 of the 1099-Div(s) than line 2a is the greater amount.
