Still looking for 8915-F on e-file

After reading everything about the missing 8915-F in this forum, I am now more worried about my tax return.

I need to pay another third of my tax penalty over my Covid-19 related 2020 retirement withdrawals.

It is important I get my tax return done soon.

You will report the second taxable portion of your 2020 coronavirus distribution in the Retirement section under Wages and Income of TurboTax. There is no penalty and you just have to pay income tax on a third of your 2020 Covid-related distribution.

However, this section is not yet ready as the IRS has not yet issued instructions for form 8915-F and you'll need to revisit this section later.

Please read this TurboTax Help topic on form 8915-F.

At this time, we do not know when the IRS will finalize form 8915-F as it is still in draft form as of February 2, 2022.
