Retirement Income from another state

I received retirement income from CT (state I worked in but do not live in). There isn't any state tax withheld on the 1099-R. My state (MA) allows a tax break for teachers. Do I claim this income under home state or do I have to submit a tax return to the other state?

Retirement Income from another state

You claim it under your current home state.  Retirement income is taxable by your state of legal residence at the time you receive it.

**Answers are correct to the best of my ability but do not constitute tax or legal advice.
