Why did me return go to a private group in cali. And they took over 2/3 of my return?

My return was $4440.  I only received $ 1670 why?

The IRS does not notify TT when it adjusts a tax refund, but it may be due to the stimulus and/or Child Tax Credit.  You will be getting a letter in the mail from the IRS in 2-4 weeks.
