You can also find the 1099-R section using Search.
Open your return, enter 1099-r in the search bar, and select the Jump to 1099-r link.
That should take you to a 1099-R Summary page (after you have already entered your first 1099-R). Select the Add another 1099-R button.
If you set up your return as a joint return correctly, then when you go to the screen to enter a 1099R you should see spaces with each spouse's name. Do not click "edit" on your own name. Look for the spot that has your spouse's name on that screen.
