In other words, some states are also excluding the $10,200 in federal income to determine taxable state income and taxes.

Some are doing so, but have not yet provided guidance on how to handle.  Others are considering it.  Which state are you interested in?

Thank you.  Your response confirms what I have read as well.  My son works seasonal jobs but rec'd unemployment from MA but also had jobs in CO, CA, VT and MT as well this year.
