Where should I enter pension amount I received in India and already paid tax

(a) are you a US person ( citizen/GreenCard/Resident for tax purposes ) ?

(b) what type of pension --- govt. employment based  or private employment / private pension or what ?  There are restrictions as to whom can tax these based on US-India Tax treaty ?

(c) Is this your first year or what ?

Generally private  foreign  pensions are treated just like domestic private pension i.e  pretend there was a 1099-R.
