All I keep getting is a notification: “You’ll need to revisit this area later. Unfortunately charges related to disaster disbursement isn’t ready.”
I’m trying to do this March 1st… how much longer do I wait? Two months should have been plenty of time to “update” the forms.
The changes that have taken place in the last two tax seasons is unprecedented and it's been challenging in every way for the IRS as well taxpayers and software developers. This form will be used for anyone who chose to take a distribution from their retirement and spread the taxable amount over three years.
The IRS did recently take the Form 8915-F out of draft and finalized it for tax year 2021. TurboTax has the form available on March 31, 2022. Continue to check this link to see if the date changes.
