You can sort your list by clicking in the rectangle that contains "Paid by" on the 1099-NEC Summary. See image below.

What JulieS stated is true if you are using the TurboTax Desktop version of TurboTax; simply click on the Paid By and it will alphabetize the 1099-NEC's. The Paid By box in the TurboTax Online version for the alphabetizing of 1099-NEC's seems to be inactive and there does not appear to be a work-around for it other than manually reentering them in alphabetical order.
I am using the desktop version of TurboTax 2022 Home & Business on a PC running Windows 10. Anyway to sort these alphabetically?

If the above does not work for you I suggest you make sure you have all updates installed for the program and try again.
This is not an update issue. There is no "Paid By" in my window - I wish it were there. Appreciate your attempted help. Thank you.
Appreciate those who have responded and I wish that my screen looked like theirs, but it does not and I am not able to sort my 1099s in any order.
To Turbotax, why does my screen not look like those who have responded? I purchased a download version of TurboTax Home & Business 2022. Under Help-About under Version tab it says 022.000.0366. How do I get my version to sort 1099-NECs in alphabetical order???

I did it on my own desktop version and it worked perfectly. See here for the illustration
I initially entered the xyz before abc. When I got to this screen, I simply clicked on Paid By and TT did its magic and sorted it by putting abc to be the 1st. You may have to clear cache and cookies first, log out of the program and log back in again for best results.

Appreciate your attempted help but you did not look at my screen capture, which shows that I do NOT have a "Paid By" heading on my desktop version of the program. I wish I did but do not. TurboTax phone was no help either.
