The IRS allows anyone who has taken the 2020 RMD to move it to a Roth IRA. A form 8606 is needed to move the RMD to a Roth. How do I fill out the form?

If the distribution was made in January, it's now too late to roll this distribution over to a Roth IRA as a conversion contribution unless the distribution qualifies as a Coronavirus Related Distribution or Congress changes the law to allow non-CRD distributions made in January to be rolled over after the regular 60-day deadline.  Extension of the rollover deadline to July 15, 2020 only applies to distribution made on February 1 and later.
