I did independent contract work for a company.it was a mom and pop farmers market job. I was paid in cash every few days. I never received a 1099 from this company. Another person has their phone number now. None of this really surprised me. Am I still able to find my IRA/Roth IRA, even though I have zero evidence I actually worked? Is there a way to write 6000 on a tax return without any documentation or evidence?

It is not rare for income to be in cash and you report it on Sch C and can fund a Roth on the basis of that earned income.
Am I required to give the details of who paid me on my tax return/schedule c? Like their name address phone number and business name? Cause I don't have any of that information. It was a super informal relationship. All I knew was their first names.
That information is not required.
