I am trying to enter my 1099-R for an in-plan Roth rollover of after tax 401(k) dollars to a Roth 401(k). There is a well documented bug in this thread from over a year ago that the word "ROLLOVER" won't show up on the 1040 line 5b even if the 1099-R is correctly entered to reflect the in-plan roth rollover.
Original description of the bug with 4 pages of comments from different users
1099-R does not put ROLLOVER on line 5b issue
For those running into this issue on 2022 taxes, can we get a voucher to switch over to the desktop version so this can be entered properly?
This is a very common retirement account setup for many employees at tech companies since 2019-2022, particularly Google, Facebook, etc.
