Our 403b has advised us that due to a new law passed, that we are no longer required to begin distributions until age 73. turbo tax still says 72. does anybody have information?

The age from which you are required to take RMDs is 72 for 2022. If you reach 72 in 2022, you are required to take a RMD for 2022 before April 1, 2023. You have to take another RMD for 2023 before December 31, 2023.

The Secure 2.0 Act has increased the starting age for RMDs to 73 from tax year 2023.
