Req Min Withdrawls from IRA accts in 2020....Are we exempt in 2020 due to Covid??

Am I right that I can ignore the REM in 2020 and not be penalized due to Covid??

Yes, the RMD  was suspended for 2020 due to the CARES act. However it will be required for 2021 unless Congress does something about, which is not likely.
