Pension and IRA RMD

I am still confused, my pension is $20,000 a year and considered all as the RMD. My IRA is $100,000 which has an RMD of $4065. So is $24,065 my RMD for the year? Does the pension RMD cover the RMD for the year? So I would not have to take anything out of the IRA?

Pension and IRA RMD

No part of a pension distribution satisfies any part of your IRA RMD.  The IRA RMD is required to be satisfied by a distribution from your IRA.

Pension and IRA RMD

If you receive your pension in instalments then all payments are considered RMDs.

Your RMD is $4,085 and you have satisfied your RMD. There is no additional distribution required.

In TurboTax, you can answer that the whole sum received is RMD and that your RMD is equal to the total received.

This way, TurboTax will know that you have satisfied all RMD requirements.
