Re: Roth IRA: I am a non-eligible designated beneficiary age 75. My 98 year old mother died May 2022. I understand that I will need to empty the Roth account by year 2032. What I am not so sure about is if there is an annual RMD required. I have seen conflicting information at various (very credible) online sites. Can you please tell me is an annual RMD required for an inherited Roth?

With an inherited Roth IRA, no annual beneficiary RMDs are required under the 10-year rule because the deceased owner is deemed to have died before their required beginning date for RMDs.

dmertz...thanks again!
