If you don't have any Form 1099-R to report then you can skip the retirement section. 

To delete a Form 1099-R that got carried over:

1. Click "Wages & Income" (under Federal) on the left
2. Scroll down and click "Show more" next to "Retirement Plans and Social Security"
3. Scroll down and click "Start/Edit" next to "IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan (1099-R)" 
4. Click "Delete" next to the Form 1099-R

If you received a retirement distribution but haven't received Form 1099-R you can check with your financial institute how to get the Form 1099-R.
