how do i list SSDI income

To list SSDI income in TurboTax, enter the information from your Form SSA-1099 in the "Wages & Income" section sing the steps listed below:

You can get to the screens in TurboTax to enter your Form SSA-1099 as follows:

1.  Click on "Search" at the top right of your TurboTax screen
2. Type "Form 1099-SSA"  in the search bar 
3. Click on the link that says "Jump to Form SSA-1099"
4. Your screen will say, "Tell me about the benefits you received"
5. Your screen will ask Did you receive Social Security or RRB in 2025? Answer yes.
6. Your next screen will say Tell us about the benefits you received. Check the SSA-1099 box 
7. Enter your information into the appropriate bioxes and Continue
8. Continue through all of the follow-up screens and answer all questions regarding your SSDI.
