401k rollover to IRA and Roth IRA

I retired in Dec 2021 and I rolled over my former employer 401k to an IRA and Roth IRA in January 2022. I made the maximum contribution to the 401k in 2021.

Will I be able to contribute either the IRA or the Roth IRA when i complete my 2021 tax return?

It depends on your 2021 MAGI (Modified Gross Adjusted income).
