401k Excess Contribution, mix of Roth and pre-tax

Including it in box 1 on my W-2 doesn't sound correct, right? It wasn't from a pre-tax contribution, so it's not missing. It was from a Roth contribution, so the income on it had already been taxed.

And thanks for that bit on the miscellaneous deductions, didn't know about that.

I forgot that it was a Roth contribution.  In that case it's already been taxed and there is no need to include the $600 again.
