Under the pension section "where is this distribution from?", I checked the "none" radio button but when I go back to check it, it is changed to "pension/IRA distributions received before retirement age". How do I ensure the "none of the above" stays checked?

It will stay checked to None after you leave that screen. On some screens, when you re-enter the screen, the value appears to be changed for design purposes, but unless you continue off this screen without setting the answer back to None, the answer will stay None.
It is a bit puzzling, but just know if you happen to revisit that screen, you'll need to make sure that you set the value to None before you leave.
If you edit or review a 1099R it does not keep your answers from before but resets them to the defaults. Then you have to go through and answer them all again. So be sure to go all the way to the end of the 1099R section. They are right unless you go back.
