When I complete my QCD amounts I still get a yellow box. How do I correct the problem.

A yellow box when entering your Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) in TurboTax usually indicates that some information might be missing or inconsistent. To correct this:

1. Review your 1099-R entry: Ensure the distribution code in Box 7 is correctly selected, often code "Q" for QCD.
2. Confirm the QCD amount: When prompted, enter the exact amount donated directly to the charity.
3. Check for indirect distributions: Only direct distributions from the IRA to the charity qualify as QCDs. Distributions made to you first do not qualify.

After verifying these, the yellow warning should clear. If it persists, double-check the amounts and the charity's eligibility.
