I used to work for the University of Illinois at Chicago, however, the school didn't pay the social security tax for my employment in 2006 and 2007. Is there a way to go back and pay social security taxes for these two years? I don't have enough credit to claim social security and medicate.
I appreciate your help.

No.
If your position was considered part of your education or training (such as certain post-doc positions), they are exempt from social security and medicare tax by law. If you were a regular employee and it was a mistake by their payroll department, it's too late to fix it.
Thank you!
