On HSA question it asks if any contributions were made between January 1- April 15 2019. Should I put the contributions that I will contribute until April 15, 2019.

It asks. "Any contributions for 2018 that were made between January 1-April 15, 2019

Yes, contributions to your HSA for tax year 2018 can be made up to April 15, 2019. 

If you are certain to make additional contributions by April 15, 2019, you can add them to your 2018 tax return. Make sure that you notify your HSA administrator that the contributions are for tax year 2018.

Yes, contributions to your HSA for tax year 2018 can be made up to April 15, 2019. 

If you are certain to make additional contributions by April 15, 2019, you can add them to your 2018 tax return. Make sure that you notify your HSA administrator that the contributions are for tax year 2018.

As far as I know, TurboTax does not ask about the timing of contributions that you personally deposit; it's not relevant information.  I think this HSA contribution timing question only applies to contributions made through an employer who reported a code W amount in box 12 of your W-2.  You would need to ask your employer about the year for which your contributions being made through payroll deductions are being made.

Also, make sure that are not mistakenly entering HSA contributions as IRA contributions.  TurboTax *does* ask about IRA contributions made between January 1 and April 15.
