Every other year I've gotten the $20,000 deduction on NYS income tax for "New York deduction for other pensions". This year it is showing as $0 - nothing has changed from my side. I've gone back and restarted my tax return twice thinking I've missed something - any ideas??

If your pension is taxable to New York and you are over the age of 59 ½ or turn 59 ½ during the tax year, you may qualify for a pension and annuity exclusion of up to $20,000. NY State
To claim the exclusion in TurboTax:
After I click Update next to Received Retirement Income, it takes me to "Retirement Distributions Summary". There it lists my pensions; if I click Edit next to one of them, it says "We don't need any further information about the retirement distribution from ____". Back at the "Retirement Distributions Summary", I click Done; it asks if I received Long Island Railroad retirement pay (No), then it brings me to the Pension Deduction Summary, and the "New York Deduction for other pensions" is still $0.
It would be helpful to have a TurboTax ".tax2022" file that is experiencing this issue. You can send us a “diagnostic” file that has your “numbers” but not your personal information. If you would like to do this, here are the instructions for TurboTax Online:

We will then be able to see exactly what you are seeing and we can determine what exactly is going on in your return and provide you with a resolution.

Thank you!
Thank you, I reviewed your token. In the federal return in the follow-up questions for each Form 1099-R, you made an incorrect selection on the "Where is the distribution from?" screen. I'm under the impression that you are over 59 1/2 and therefore selecting that you are not qualifying for the exclusion is incorrect ("Not eligible for the exclusion for those over age 59 1/2"). If you are over 59 1/2 you qualify for the exclusion and need to select "None of the above" if no other option applies to you.
