I don't this exemption on my federal tax on my Turbotax return?

2. Verify you have indicated you have military service
3. Select "Former military"
4. Continue to finish the topic questions
5. Select "Wages and Income"
6. Navigate to the "Retirement" topic
7. Edit the 1099R for your retirement pay
8. Enter/verify the form information
9. The follow question for OR residents will ask if "Federal Government Pension" or "Other"
10. Select "Federal Government"
11. Continue to complete the topic
12. Edit/start your OR state interview
13. You will be asked about your pension income specifically about the service dates
14. If you have service prior to Oct 1991 select that option
15. You will then be able to enter the service time prior to Oct 1991 for the Oregon subtraction
