Mass state retirement

Turbo tax wants to tax my Massachusetts State Retirement.  I've used Ttax for years and never had this issue.

    Go back to the Federal section and EDIT that 1099-R..check the values, but then step thru the followup pages...there is one page where you need to select the proper  retirement type button.

    Hello - 

    Yes my entries in this area are correct.

    I've been retired since 2015 and never had this issue with turbo tax.

    I've checked everything - 3 times, removed and reentered all my data with the same results.

     

    This program for some reason wants to tax my Mass State Pension on my State Forms and I can't remove it.

    Well...you could delete the entire 1099-R, and then enter it again manually, and try again to see what it does (if you haven't already done so)….otherwise all that is left is Customer Support on the phone:
