Louisiana state taxes.

You will need to pay Louisiana whatever the Louisiana return asks for. Go to the Louisiana payments portal here.

You also immediately need to go to your HR people and file a W-4. The W-4 is used to determine your federal withholding, but the amount of taxable wages can be used in most states to plug into a state-provided table to determine how much to withhold for Louisiana. You may need to make an estimated tax payment to Louisiana to make up for the 3 1/2 months you have missed this year.

If you do not work in Louisiana and your employer will not make Louisiana withholding, then you will need to estimate the amount of tax you will owe each quarter, and make the payments yourself. Look for Make a Payment on the Louisiana payment portal to make an Estimated Payment.
