Should I get all medical insurance premiums/expenses as a deduction? I am self employed & my wife is retired. How do I get TT to take the entire deduction not the 7.5%+?

There is no employer contribution for anything. I have a bunch of 1099-Misc and all have a figure in box 7 on all of them. We have no W-2s. My wife receives a pension - but no medical compensation of any kind. Both of us have social security and Medicare and we pay for supplemental "Senior Advantage" health insurance. Turbo Tax is currently doing the 7.5%+ thing for a medical deduction.

It is possible if your premiums and expenses qualify.  Ask a certified accountant that deals in tax preparation...especially one that will be willing to give you advice.  You are probably filing your 1099 and there are  boxes indicating where this box 7 goes.  Don't be afraid to ask turbo tax more about this deduction and if they have a list of qualifies.
