Is it too late to avoid an underpayment penalty for 2016?

I'm in a position in which I believe I'll have an underpayment penalty when I file in April. Is there anything I can do now to avoid that penalty?

It's not too late to avoid it for the last quarterly payment. Any penalty for underpaying the first three is already fixed.
