Incorrect pension amount

On lone 5@, pensions and annunities, Turbo Tax used the gross pension amount in box 1 on the 1099R instead of the taxable aount on box 2a. Why. How to correct is wrong.

the 1040 line 5a should be box 1, line 5b should be box 2a.
