I was checking my entries in 2018 TurboTax Premier to ensure the "Step-by-Step mode collected my entries and applied them correctly. The Audit Trail for Traditional IRA Contributions broke-down on Line 17 of the IRA Contributions Worksheet for Federal Taxes, where the notation says that the Deductible amount of the IRA Contribution is supposed to flow to Form 1040, Line 32; HOWEVER, Form 1040 does not have a Line 32 -- the highest line number is 23.
Upon further investigation, it looks like the Deductible IRA Contribution amount actually flows to Schedule 1, Line 32; then it seems it is (transparently) subtracted from Line 6 of Form 1040... While the values seem to be correctly applied, the Notes/Instructions are misleading;
I believe the Notes/Instructions should be corrected to reflect the way this value actually flows through the IRS Forms.

Thank you for mentioning this, Todd! You're correct that it should say ".. to Schedule 1 (Form 1040), line 32".
That will be corrected in a future release.
