Thank you.  Will you please let me know where this amount appears on my 1040.  It's not on Form 8949 with all my other capital gains/losses.  I input the amount in the proper space on my 2016 (I'm just beginning my 2017) Turbo Tax premier.

It will be included in the amount on line 13 of your 1040 and will be reflected on Sch D

If it is included in the totals on Schedule D, shouldn't this capital gain be listed on Form 8949 as all my others are?  Thanks.

No. That form records capital gains (or losses) as a result of stock sales.
