No taxable income only survivor Ss benefits. I just did all steps. 0 stAte and 0 federal.

If Social Security was your only income for 2021 you are not required to file a tax return unless you have a 1095A for marketplace insurance.   Or do you still need to get the 3rd stimulus check for $1400?   if you did not get that payment you can file a 2021 return to use the recovery rebate credit to get the $1400 stimulus check.
